This is 'Waffles'!

You heard it here first! Unless you were in my History class today but the reasons to the title will be revealed later on. Oh yeah, and just for clarification: I HATE GORDON. Although, not the Gordon I know at school, the fucking hurricane passing over Scotland at the moment is what I hate, fucking weather. Ah well, this confirms that it's Autumn, the time of the constant rain!

Tuesday was an alright day, the weather was kinda shit but bearable. Graphics first was alright, I finished half of my first lot of computer work, pretty fun although kinda boring. Surprisingly I miss those damn boards. Computing was alright, I dislike this damn skating program though. History was fun, although Mr Roberts was pretty boring which was a gutter. English was alright I guess, kinda boring to be honest, we just read more of the Cone Gatherers and analysed a paragraph. Art was cool, boring, but cool. Tuesday in all was pretty boring, I wish I could remember more of it though. :(

Today was shit-tastic. Well, from the start. Now, as I have previously stated in my blog my bus is always late as fuck, but today was taking the piss. I leave my house at 8:20, it's my routine, I get to the bus stop in 2-3mins because it's pretty close to my house. Now there are at least six Marbil buses that can pick us up, two are for the John Bosco school though, although they sometimes give us lifts. Okay, now that the facts are out the way, let me set the scene. The sky is dull and choking with rain clouds, it is poring it down with ice-cold water and no one seems to be in a good mood. Now that went on for fourty fucking minutes. Our buses are shit, one bus drove by us when it was completely empty. And it was one of our drivers. Another stopped so we rushed over to it, only to find that it was full and just wanted to tell us that the driver had called in another bus to pick us up which funnily enough arrived within three minutes. If they can be as fast as that, why the fuck am I always late because of them? Fucking idiots. (End Rant). But when I got to school everything got really fun, weird. Benchball first period which, as ever, was a great laugh. Same teams as last time though, which meant - as Clivey most rightly said - we got stuck with the damn waxwork museum. Seriously, it's people like these statues that make P.E. shit, I mean, I used to hate P.E., but I still tried and put in a little effort. Even if you don't enjoy P.E. you should at least try and make it enjoyable for others, then you might actually enjoy it. My team at the moment has a few legendary players in my Benchball set, Graeme Jackson, Ross Logan, Nicky Bunyan (Do not persecute me for saying this, the man actually does to well in Benchball) and Clivey to name a few. But then there are the others (Who I will not name for polite reasoning) who stand around and do fuck all. I mean, hell, Daniel Dickson joined my team late and got a homerun within a minute of playing, he did better than them! Hell, I passed to one of them to get a runner out, she didn't catch it and got hit in the chest and fucking snided me! I mean, what the fuck? But it makes it even worse when the opposition is full of athletic bastards! (And I mean bastards in the good sense) We got beat 57-60, which is down to Clivey and the others killing themselves in order to pull us closer to victory, it was a shame their efforts were over shadowed by a bunch of idiots. Oh yeah, I learnt a lesson as well: Being cockey and challenging someone who is holding the ball to throw at you is not advised unless you can back up the jumping skills to dodge it, or at least run fast. Damn you Johnny! English was fun, I sat and talked to Sarah while doing my work, I even got to be sarcastic to Liam after he said something blatantly obvious, man. I love my class. :P Private study was alright, got to talk to Darren for another full period while pretending to read about the Suffragettes. Computing was alright, we actually did a lot of written work, which for once was pleasant. Crazy. Graphics was alright, I got my test results back and found out I passed pretty well. Clivey got the highest mark once again though :P and made a sixth year £1 in the process, it turns out they have decided to put bets on the higher pupils to see who will get the highest score. My table won. :P History was a great laugh, Mr Cox has returned to his old state of: Humourous legend. Hell, we got our essay plans back today after being told we were being given an extension on the actual essay because they were all so bad. Although, his comments on mine were great: "This is 'Waffles'!", "Yes, now try and actual explain that point!" and a whole lot of "Ditto!". Everyone got cheek off him, Hell, Scott got "This is wishy-washy", I mean, if anyone else said that it wouldn't be funny, but Big Iggy makes it hilarious. He even got the entire class to decide what was worse, Waffles Vs. Wishy-Washy. Waffles won by far, hence the title of the blog.

Anyways, hopefully I won't die tommorrow when we apparently will have gale force winds, gutted. If there's anything I hate about being skinny and tall, it's being blown around in the wind. Adios people, or if I die tommorrow. Ouch.

Long Overdue

Hey, I must first apologise for the ridiculous gap between this update and the last, between being busy, watching movies, sleeping and doing lots of homework I have been unable to fit the blog in, but I will make amends now.

On Wednesday night not long after my last update I watched the film "Dogma" which Pollo had let me borrow, it was amazingly funny and well directed. Not only does it have Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith), it features Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Chris Rock. It is a very funny film about two exiled Angels (Ben and Matt) who find a loop-hole in the Catholic faith which would allow them to cleanse themselves of their sins after going against God and then they will be able to return to Heaven, but since proving God wrong would end the universe it is up to a holy pilgrimage led by a group of rag-tag believers to New Jersey in order to stop this horror taking place. It is an amazing film and I will undoubtedly try and get it myself soon.

Thursday was an alright day, although I can't remember much of it... Friday was alright too at school but it got a lot more fun after it. My Uncle Kenny got his fourth university degree on Friday and my family were together celebrating it, the man is a goddamn genius. He is a Stoke College professor, a fluent Roman-Catholic, he has beaten Cancer and has led a great life so far, the man makes my family proud through and through (Although it is a shame that he is married to my dad's sister, because now I can't claim it's in the family genes :P).

Saturday was great, Paul and I went into Glasgow together to meet up with our Glasgow friends, or at least, those who could make it into Glasgow. I got my Boys Night Out ticket! I'm all happy now! Although I got many evil glances off my friends whenever I tried to explain who I was going to see, I mean, sure, Boys Night Out does sound a little gay, but look at the Rasmus. Ah well, horray for the Canadians I will be seeing shortly after my birthday! Should be great fun. Also I watched Jeepers Creepers this night on channel four, it was pretty good although the plot was pretty damn bland. Sunday was an alright day, quite stressful though. I had a headache for most of the day and a whole lot of homework to deal with... Two History questions to be answered as seperate essays (I am not exaggerating), an English essay, an English PCQE question and an art essay on Impressionism and one Impressionist artist. I was not a happy person by the end of this day... Well, almost. I watched Jeepers Creepers 2 at nine o'clock, they said it wasn't as good as the first one but Hell, I thought it was a lot better, although once again it had a pretty shit plot. The evil demon guy was cool in the first one too, they ruined his mystery in the sequel though. I mean, when you first meet him in the original he is just walking around and generally being scary while murdering people, not revealing his wings till the end. The second one however has him flying around all over the place and generally being a complete asshat.

Today was alright, nothing majorly good though, although the weather was pretty shit today. Graphics first period was pretty fun because we are now onto the computers and AutoCAD, which in my opinion is fucking brilliant fun. Art second period was alright, I started a new drawing today which probably looks to be a lot more fun than the previous bottle... Computing third was alright, kinda bland although Scott and I have figured out that when Mr Purdue gives lectures he appears to be stroking an invisible pet bird, if you have him as a teacher try to imagine it. It works. Social Ed. was alright, although I am blatantly sick of Mr Dyball, seriously. I applaud his wife for leaving him, Hell, I would be happy if she had cheated on him in the process, the man is a fucking asshole and really annoys the Hell out of me. I mean, if I had tits he would most definitely be twisting them metaphorically. History was fun, Mr Roberts has returned to his old glory as a funny bastard and we got to watch a cool movie about the splitting of Germany. English was alright too, I got to talk to Sarah a lot and did some fun work.

Anyways, that's me caught up with the blogging schedule, although it remains a mystery if I will manage to make the next update, will I remember? Or will I just not bother? Only time will tell... Adios.

Punch-Drunk Punk Rock Romance

Hey, it's time again for another blog entry, I was wondering why I continued to do this blog. But of course I only do this because I have nothing better to do, and I like doing it. Anyways, I should probably get on with this entry before I forget what I was going to write about. Which was...

Tuesday! Pretty boring to be honest. As per usual I had Graphics first period where once again I had to restart a damn drawing, man... I am not really enjoying the current topic "Measured Perspective" because it is pretty damn hard, lots of lines, confusing use of height lines and weirdly place guides on the sheets. It's really annoying to be honest. Computing was alright, more coding and general arsing around with Thomas, Scott was off though. History was pretty damn boring, Thomas came up to sit beside me since Monty, Pollo and Scott weren't there. We didn't get to talk much since Mr Roberts was too busy talking to the class, I practically fell asleep towards the end, it was not fun. Oh yeah, Thomas taught me a new word "Necropaedobeastiality", which basically means you like to have sex with dead baby animals. Crazy, isn't it. English was much like a ghost town, there were thirteen of us to start with since the Higher Music students got to go off on a trip to a concert hall to see a orchestra play. Well, as I said, there were thirteen of us to start with but eventually two others left half-way through for some appointment or something, I don't know much. Basically it was a pretty empty period, we just got to do whatever English stuff we wanted, I got my PCQE checked then read more of the Cone Gatherers, I am somewhere in Ch. 8, I didn't keep tabs on the page. Art was alright, I just sat and talked to Shiona and Michelle while I cut out pictures of clocks and drew more of the interior of my house-phone circuit (I don't actually own it, but I am the only one drawing it, hence the possessiveness.) which is almost complete! Kinda...

Today was a pretty good day, P.E. first period which meant more Benchball! Although, I played the worst game of the term so far, the ball shot towards me so many times while I was fielding and I couldn't catch any of them! I got two people out through throws and I got many runs, including my first home-run when I was the last team member on. Pretty good game, even though my team got beat 40-37. The teams got mixed today which I was pretty pissed about, I liked the previous teams. English was pretty good, we went over Chapter 4 with Ms. Jones and examined PCQE's, Sarah is a serious marker of my work, she is one of the few people I know that leave personal comments on other peoples work, she should be a tutor or a teacher, it looks suited for her. Private Study was a laugh, I talked with Greg, Scott, Michael and Darren for a period about random shit, mostly Bond. Darren has persuaded me to go with him to see the new Bond film as soon as it is released, so that means more money spending for me... Fun! Nah, it should be easy. I have my birthday, then twelve days after that the BNO gig, then five days after that Casino Royale with Darren, November is gonna be fun. :P Computing was boring, more coding, well not much in my case, and another boring lecture from Purdue. Man, he is gonna put me to sleep and then conduct card me for it! Graphics was pretty boring, I finally finished the second last measured perspective drawing that I was on and now am moving onto the last one, then the computer work! Although I have a measured perspective test tommorrow... Gutted! History was alright, Pollo and Scott were back in force so I got many laughs out of it, pretty fun. It's been a good day in my opinion, I just hope tommorrow is the same...

That's this post done, Adios.

I Can't Make It To Your Wedding But I'll Be At Your Wake

Well this is surprising, I didn't miss this update. :P Yays! Well, better get cracking right onto this while I can.

Sunday was pretty boring, I didn't do much besides read my Personal Study book and do some other homework. A pretty bland day in all so I won't get into much detail about it.

Monday has yet again proven itself to be a good day for me, although it didn't start so well. My bus was pretty late in the morning so I was standing around for a bit longer than usual, although Garret and Godley were actually keen on conversation for once so it did pass by pretty fast, although for once since I have been back at school when we arrived at school Mr Gillen wanted us to write our names on a piece of paper so he knew who was on the bus. Which is weird because our bus is regularly late and we rarely do this procedure. Hell, my registration teacher expects me to say "Bus was late" whenever I enter the class, it's routine. I went straight up to my class to find out that we were in the theatre -the empty class was a dead giveaway- so I shot over just in time to get a seat with Pollo before anything started, which was fun. We had our year Chaplain in again, man, our year just doesn't mix with religion. I mean, I am a protestant (Not at all a good one, I know) but Hell, my year is mostly made up of Aetheists. When she said she was going to do a prayer I tried to count how many people joined her, I counted ten but I think I missed a few. The "Amen" at the end was pitiful though. Straight off to Graphics after a few words from Mr Young -none of which I remember- which was an alright period. Clivey and Pollo were pretty tired along with me so the conversation was weak. Art was boring as Hell, we are starting our second essay in Art, our first for expressive though -I am handing in the introduction to my design essay tommorrow- about the Impressionists, man I hate expressive essays. Artists are so boring to write about... Except Van Gogh (Which is an option for the post-impressionist essay) because he was so amazing, I mean, he stabbed his friend, then cut off his own ear in remorse. Legend! Computing was another borefest, direct quote from Thomas at the end "Man, Mr Purdue bored me to death so much I am crying!" which was moderately true, his eyes were watering up, although I suspect a yawn. Social Ed. was unbearable, we had a careers talk from this really annoying fat woman, I spent most of the period cursing under my breath and wishing she would shut up and leave, which she did... Eventually. Oh yeah, we had Mr Dyball for the second period in a row, I hope to God he isn't our new teacher, I mean, it's no wonder his wife left him. The man is an asshole. History was alright, I got to do some work on the Cold War so it was alright, Scott was off though so there was no banter with him and Pollo. Gutted. English last period was alright, I just made a wee table and wrote words on it for my Personal Reflective Essay, should be alright although we are back to the Cone Gatherers tommorrow. Woot! More Scottish book reading!

A lot of people have asked me this in the past, so I think it's about time I revealed the answers to their questions.

Question: What sort of music do you like?

Answer:

In a list format, here it is.
Example: Band Name - Favourite Song Title

  • Alexisonfire - Accidents
  • Boys Night Out - The Fine Art Of Making It Out Alive
  • Brand New - Okay, I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't
  • Bright Eyes - Make War
  • Every Time I Die - Floater
  • From Autumn To Ashes - Cherry Kiss
  • Modest Mouse - Talkin' Shit About A Pretty Sunset
  • Gorillaz - Dare
  • Glassjaw - Tip Your Bartender
  • Xiu Xiu - I Luv The Valley OH
  • Poison The Well - Pleasant Bullet

  • R.E.M. - Orange Crush
  • Ugly Casanova - Spilled Milk Factory
  • Atreyu - Right Side Of The Bed
  • Dead Poetic - The Corporate Enthusiast

  • Emanuel - The Willing
  • Johnny Truant - I Am The Primitologist
  • Lost Prophets - Fake Sound Of Progress
  • Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name
  • Emery - Walls

I hope that satisfies any questions you may have, I have a very diverse musical taste. I used to be very one sided but now I have opened up to many musical tastes, I don't really have any hated music anymore. Except HIM, but that's just a "Man, I hate that damn singer" thing.

Anyways, that concludes business on this side of the transaction, thanks for reading. Adios Amigos.

The Truth Is There's Been An Autumn In Me

Hey, sorry for missing the Thursday update as well, I had a lot of homework to do that night, so I have a few things to catch up on. Well, that is if I have remember them. :( Ah well, I won't know until I get working on this, so let's begin with Wednesday.

First period was Benchball again, it was so good. My team one again, I got many runs but fucked up a few times :P I was on of the few players to get taken out twice in one round without a single run, gutted. It was grea though, we are sticking with the same teams each time so as long as they stay balanced everything should be good. Although we did have one less player, and we won by 41 - 18. English was good, kinda boring but I was pretty worn out after P.E. but I got my work done. Private Study was pretty boring, didn't get much done. Computing was fun, got to talk to Thomas and Scott for most of the period while ignoring Purdue... :P Graphics was alright, had a laugh with Clivey and Pollo, the usual stuff then went to History and almost fell asleep. I can't wait till we do German Nationalism in History, it is bound to be ten times more interesting than Democracy... Oh yeah, as soon as I got home from school I hopped in the car and shot off to Renfrew and got my hair cut short, I like it and not many people have complained so far, so it's all good. (Actually, no one has complained, but Godley did call me a baldy so it counts.)

Thursday was a very painful day, I was faced with the reality of overstretching yourself in P.E. without warming up first, my calves hurt like fuck. From when I woke up till I went to sleep I was faced with the prospect of having to deal with it... And I thank God everyday for paracetmol... Computing was alright, more coding this time, easy programs but every bit of code is more knowledge for me. English was kinda boring, but good none-the-less. History was another yawn-fest, I can't stand Democracy anymore! Graphics was funny, Pollo decided to slag one of the sixth years that was annoying him, funningly enough she heard him and gave him a snidey, it was so good. Everyone that heard him gave him a glare, except Clivey and I who were killing ourselves because she heard him, I can't remember exactly what he said but she does, I know it. Art was alright, kinda boring but my bottle is coming along nicely. My classes were a lot more filled today as the people off at the Open days at the Universities were back today, finally got a hug off Kim so everything was good.

Friday was a good day, very bright and warm. Graphics was alright, nothing really fun this time, which sucked. English was fun, I got to go printer-hunting at second period to see if I could print off my damn work from my laptop, but eventually settled for putting it on the school network and printing it from a normal mac, which was shit. The second part of the double period after the break was full of marking our answers on the textual analysis homework we had, kinda boring. Private study was pretty boring, I just read more of the Cone Gatherers. I was almost on the floor in History, snoring like a pig. I hate the current topic now, although it looks as if it might get better, we are covering the Suffragettes so far, and I am sitting with Pollo and Scot, so I bet Hannah will be murdering one of them for being sexist soon enough. Great. Computing was interesting, we started coding then the fire bell went off so I got to stand at the pitches and joke with Pollo for a while before heading back to class to pick up my bag and head to the bus. Friday evening was pretty bland, I had the house to myself for a while and I probably should have had friends over, but I was lazy and couldn't be arsed. I watched "The Best of the Worst" though, man, I love David Mitchell's comedic genius, he is such a whitty bastard, sure, he looks like a fat Hitler minus the moustache, but he is great. He was also accompanied by his Peep Show co-star Robert Webb, an equal legend. Man, I haven't seen Peep Show in ages, it was the best Channel Four comedy ever, I am gonna have to get the Series One and Two boxsets for my birthday, Amazon has them pretty damn cheap together.

Saturday has been pretty boring, I was meant to be going into Glasgow with Paul in the afternoon to be picking up my BNO tickets to the gig, but I missed Paul when he was online and I didn't know when he was going in, so I will get my ticket next week. I will be going without Paul though since he found out he has night-school when the gig will be on, gutted. Ah well, more BNO for me!

Well, that's me made up for the missed entry, thanks for reading. Adios Amigos.

I Almost Had Myself Convinced That I Meant Every Word I Said... What A Shame...

First of all, I apologise for missing the Sunday update, it wasn't because I forgot or was lazy (Well, partly), I hadn't done much that was all so I thought I would just wait till the next time to update in order to have something to type about.

Alright, let's get cracking.

Saturday was an alright day, my family all went out around about 10 o'clock or 11 o'clock, got up around 11:30 and made myself some lunch, cooked sausage roll :P I am getting a bit better at cooking. Well, I could already cook, but I am getting more confident I guess. The rest of the day was pretty boring but I ended up watching "Sahara" with my dad later on, it's a decent film. Sunday was boring beyond belief, just me and my dad in the house so not much happened. Did some English homework though... Man, that's all I ever do, English homework. My other subjects are lazier than I am, I barely get any other homework from my classes than English, and it's easy. Man...

Monday was a good day, I love Mondays. Graphics was a laugh, Art was interesting, my bottle is starting to look good. In my opinion of course, it may just be shit, but good in my eyes. Computing was alright, another slow lecture period though. Social Ed. was... Interesting... I guess, we got to go to the theatre and watch a video about Alcohol Abuse. It is a bad 80's look on Brit's getting smashed with a scene where is shows a guy throwing up in Hospital, up-close and personal, it wasn't pretty. History was a laugh, Mr Roberts is definitely working his way into legendary status, he is a good teacher and makes the subject interesting. Although he is the worst at acting, his Russian accent is the same as his American one. English was alright, we just went over Chapter 2 of the Cone Gatherers, I am really starting to like that book.

Today was a bit boring, it was the first Open Day at the Universities nearby so a lot of my year and nearly all of sixth year were gone, which I though meant my classes would be mostly empty. Only two subjects lived up to that idea. Graphics being the first, there were five fifth years and one sixth year, pretty fun otherwise, I like my new seat and new drawing board, even though it is just across my table :P Computing was decent, we had a quick lecture then we got to do some coding, thankfully Thomas was there to help me remember some commands. I swear, I will have to sneak him into the exam. History was good, Mr Roberts was a lot calmer than usual, we got to read a lot and do some questions, so it was a pretty good lesson. English was fun, well besides when my Textual Analysis got gutted in front of the class, apparently I write really complex answers that should be correct, yet I miss out several facts or forget to refer to the question, gutted. Better work on that stuff before it's too late. ADP (Art Design Period) was good, we were all on the Macs after a short lecture so we were googling for images to do in our research, funnily enough "Molecule Diagrams" comes up as a banned porn website, the fuck?

Ah well, that makes up for the missed post, thanks for reading. If you did. If you are reading this end bit after ignoring my previous rambling you are a scum-bucket (Yes, the black buckets used to clean public ponds), if not, thanks.

We Had It Coming

And so ends the second week of fifth year, man, my boredom is only starting to go away. I am finally getting to do some decent work and am enjoying school more-so because of that, pretty weird. What a way to end though, after constant sunshine and smiles... Rain. Lots of it too, it was sporadic as Hell though, one minute it was off and the sun came out, so everyone went outside again, then the rain kicked in just as quickly as it had turned off and caught everyone by suprise, pretty fun to watch from the inside.

Quite a lot of people were off sick today, or skiving, either which I envy them, dunno why but I had predicted this would be a bad day, turned out to be alright. Just something about the rain today made me think that it wouldn't be the best of times, but it was alright. No need for superstitious formalities. Thursday was a good day, a little boring at school but at least Computing was interesting, I finally got to do some practical work! A small program that calculates the circumference of a circle, after the user tells it what the radius is. Pretty nifty, although damn basic at the moment.

At fifth period on Thursday my entire year got taken out to the pitches for a year photo, it was eventful and full of laughs, turns out I am pretty damn tall in my year (Although, for many, others were saddened when they realised just how small they are) and I got to be on the second top row, although I probably should have been at the top if I hadn't been lazy and hung back at the queue to talk to people. I can't really be bothered talking about Thursday in paticular, since it wasn't all rays of sunshine and happiness, but on the bright side I went out for a while last night and had a good walk to clear my mind. A little cold, but good enough for walking.

There has definitely got to be some cleansing properties in a lonesome walk, you think so much clearer and your troubles appear to be non-existant for a while, heh. I paticularly like it when it's cold, and snowy. Although I really do hate being out in the snow, I like to walk along it, it's comforting. Not that I can say that about a lot of things nowadays... Bah, such is life.

Well, today was pretty uneventful, although I had a great conversation with Pollo and Scott at lunch today about a possible job prospect for myself, apparently Scott and Ryan used to work at Virgin Megastores in Glasgow, and had a great time. They left for their exams but are looking to go back, or at least Scott is, and I am tempted to try and get a job as well, from how they described it, it seems to be an amazing opportunity. Discounts on everything, decent pay, decent hours and a lot of fun with labels as they have told me. I wouldn't mind working there, the people seem pretty nice, well, excluding the coffee area workers, they are definitely in some sort of Evil League.

Well, I have something to look forward to now, the weekend. Two days of relaxation and anything else I decide to do, dunno what but I am tempted to do something. I will probably go out for another walk sometime tommorrow, I think I could work a walk into my routine now and again, I need the exercise. I am not too skinny, or underweight, nor am I fat and overweight, but I am definitely in the need of a decent amount of exercise, my legs have been pretty achey recently and I don't know the cause, probably the fact that I don't move around much. I really should try and work out, do a few sit ups, press ups and what not, but I can never be bothered to start... That's my main problem at the moment, motivation. I am seriously lacking in this department at the moment, I need to try and push myself more to get things done. I mean, I am doing my homework, and I am working hard at school, but out of school I am damn lazy and don't do much, except my chores, mostly because I need the money...

I am going to do some serious thinking over the weekend and see if I can get something figured out, and maybe start some exercising. Hopefully my next blog will be more interesting, someone do something funny or moronic. Either which would be greatly appreciated, especially if you can do them both together. Ah well, adios.
